1 Video, 10 Assets

A free guide by Kamran ImamInstagram · TikTok · YouTube

The highest-output creator I studied films one day a week; software and repurposing do the rest — one recording becomes a week of presence across seven platforms. You don’t need her tooling to steal the principle: create once, publish everywhere, in native formats. Here’s the map for one 50-second talking-head video. Free, no signup, ever.

The 10 assets

  1. The reel (Instagram) — the original.
  2. The TikTok — same video, CTA adjusted (no comment automation there — “link in bio” + pinned comment: /r/manychat).
  3. The Short (YouTube) — same video; YouTube Shorts is the most under-fished pond for this content right now.
  4. The text post (X/Threads/LinkedIn) — the script IS a thread: hook line as the opener, each list item as a post, belief line as the closer.
  5. The carousel (Instagram) — each list item becomes a slide; cover slide = the hook. Carousels get saved at higher rates than videos — same content, different behavior.
  6. The newsletter section — the script, expanded by 30% with the detail you cut for time.
  7. The guide page — the DM asset itself (/r/manychat): the video’s list, expanded, on a page you own. The most important asset on this list — it’s the one on YOUR platform.
  8. The quote graphic — the belief line, typeset on brand. Stories and text-platform fodder.
  9. The story sequence — 3 frames: the hook as a poll (“do you do this?”), the best tip, the CTA with a link sticker.
  10. The FAQ answer — the best comment question becomes next week’s reply-video or a saved comment-reply template. The comments are writing your next script.

The AI prompt that does the transformation

Here's my video script: [paste]. Generate: (1) a text-thread version — hook first line, one point per post, natural voice not hashtag-speak; (2) carousel slides — max 15 words per slide, cover slide included; (3) a newsletter section — same content expanded 30% with one extra example, my voice; (4) the quote graphic line; (5) a 3-frame story sequence with a poll question. Platform-native, no 'link in bio' on platforms where that's dead.

The order that makes it sustainable

Video first (hardest to make, easiest to derive from), then batch the derivatives in one sitting with the prompt above — it’s 20 minutes per video, or automatable (/r/automate, automation #3). Schedule everything; native posting time is a myth compared to native format.

The one rule

Each platform gets the native version, not a watermarked export from another app — cross-platform watermarks are the single loudest “I don’t care about this platform” signal, and platforms’ recommendation systems are widely believed to agree.
